| The world begins to know its needs | H |
| And souls are crying to be free | I |

| Free from the ache of unbelief | J |
| He fled to in rebellious rage | K |

| No church can bind him to the things | L |
| That fed the first crude souls evolved | M |
| For mounting up on daring wings | L |
| He questions mysteries all unsolved | M |

| The blatant voice of braying doubt | N |
| He hears the still small voice of Love | J |
| Which sends its simple message out | N |
