The Call Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABB C C DEDE AFF GGGGHIHI

In the banquet hall of ProgressA
God has bidden to a feastB
All the women in the EastB
-
Some have said 'We are not readyC
We must wait another day '-
Some with voices clear and steadyC
'Lord we hear and we obey '-
-
Others timid and uncertainD
Step forth trembling in the lightE
Many hide behind the curtainD
With their faces hid from sightE
-
In the banquet hall of ProgressA
All must gather soon or lateF
And the patient Host will waitF
-
If to day or if to morrowG
If in gladness or in woeG
If with pleasure or with sorrowG
All must answer all must goG
They must go with unveiled facesH
Clothed in virtue and in prideI
For the Host has set their placesH
And He will not he deniedI
