Secrets Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACCADEDFGE

Think not some knowledge rests with thee aloneA
Why even God's stupendous secret DeathB
We one by one with our expiring breathB
Do pale with wonder seize and make our ownA
The bosomed treasures of the earth are shownA
Despite her careful hiding and the airC
Yields its mysterious marvels in despairC
To swell the mighty store house of things knownA
In vain the sea expostulates and ravesD
It cannot cover from the keen world's sightE
The curious wonders of its coral cavesD
And so despite thy caution or thy tearsF
The prying fingers of detective yearsG
Shall drag THY secret out into the lightE
