Refuted Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCCBBCCB DEFDGF

Anticipation is sweeter than realisationA
-
It may be yet I have not found it soB
In those first golden dreams of future fameC
I did not find such happiness as cameC
When toil was crowned with triumph Now I knowB
My words have recognition and will goB
Straight to some listening heart my early aimC
To win the idle glory of a nameC
Pales like a candle in the noonday s glowB
-
So with the deeper joys of which I dreamedD
Life yields more rapture than did childhood s fanciesE
And each year brings more pleasure than I waitedF
Friendship proves truer than of old it seemedD
And all beyond youth s passion hued romancesG
Love is more perfect than anticipatedF
