Realisation (at The Old Homestead) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AA BB CC DE FF CC

I tread the paths of earlier timesA
Where all my steps were set to rhymesA
-
I gaze on scenes I used to seeB
When dreaming of a vague To beB
-
I walk in ways made bright of oldC
By hopes youth limned in hues of goldC
-
But lo those hopes of future blissD
Seem dull beside the joy that ISE
-
My noonday skies are far more brightF
Than those dreamed of in morning's lightF
-
And life gives me more joys to holdC
Than all it promised me of oldC
