Pardoned Out Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDED FGFGHHHH IJIJKLKM NHNHGOGO

I'm pardoned out Again the starsA
Shine on me with their myriad eyesB
So long I've peered 'twixt iron barsA
I'm awed by this expanse of skiesB
The world is wider than I thoughtC
And yet 'tis not so wide I knowD
But into its remotest spotE
My tale of shame can goD
-
I'm pardoned out Old Father TimeF
Who seemed to halt in horror whenG
I stained my manhood by a crimeF
With steady step moves on againG
And through the black appalling nightH
That walled me in a gloom accurstH
The wonder of the morning lightH
In sudden glory burstH
-
I'm pardoned out I shall be knownI
No more by number but by nameJ
And yet each whispering wind has blownI
Abroad the story of my shameJ
I dread to see men shrink awayK
With startled looks of scorn or fearL
When in life's crowded marts some dayK
That name falls on their earM
-
I'm pardoned out ah God to roamN
Like some whipped dog among my kindH
I have no friends I have no homeN
Save these bleak walls I leave behindH
How can I face the world of menG
My comrades in the days of yoreO
Oh hide me in my cell againG
And warden lock the doorO
