Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNNOPQRS TUVWVMost blest is he who in the morning time | A |
Sets forth upon his journey with no staff | B |
Shaped by another for his use Who sees | C |
The imminent necessity for toil | D |
And with each morning wakens to the thought | E |
Of tasks that wait his doing Never yet | F |
Has unearned leisure and the gift of gold | G |
Bestowed such benefits upon the young | H |
As need and loneliness and when life adds | I |
The burden of a duty difficult | J |
And hard to carry then rejoice O soul | K |
And know thyself one chosen for high things | L |
Behind thee walk the Helpers Yet lead on | M |
They only help the lifters and they give | N |
But unto those who also freely give | N |
Not till thy will thy courage and thy strength | O |
Have done their utmost and thy love has flowed | P |
In pity and compassion out to all | Q |
The worthless the ungrateful and the weak | R |
As well as to the worthy and the strong | S |
Canst thou receive invisible support | T |
Do first thy part and all of it before | U |
Asking the helpers to do aught for thee | V |
For this alone the Universe exists | W |
That man may find himself is Destiny | V |
