Most Blest Is He Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNNOPQRS TUVWV

Most blest is he who in the morning timeA
Sets forth upon his journey with no staffB
Shaped by another for his use Who seesC
The imminent necessity for toilD
And with each morning wakens to the thoughtE
Of tasks that wait his doing Never yetF
Has unearned leisure and the gift of goldG
Bestowed such benefits upon the youngH
As need and loneliness and when life addsI
The burden of a duty difficultJ
And hard to carry then rejoice O soulK
And know thyself one chosen for high thingsL
Behind thee walk the Helpers Yet lead onM
They only help the lifters and they giveN
But unto those who also freely giveN
Not till thy will thy courage and thy strengthO
Have done their utmost and thy love has flowedP
In pity and compassion out to allQ
The worthless the ungrateful and the weakR
As well as to the worthy and the strongS
Canst thou receive invisible supportT
Do first thy part and all of it beforeU
Asking the helpers to do aught for theeV
For this alone the Universe existsW
That man may find himself is DestinyV
