Mobilisation Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBBCCBDBE AFFGGBBDDH

Oh the Kings of earth have mobilised their menA
See them moving valour provingB
To the fields of glory goingB
Banners flowing bugles blowingB
Every one a mother's sonC
Brave with uniform and gunC
Keeping step with easy swingB
Yes with easy step and light marching onward to the fightD
Just to please the warlike fancy of a KingB
Who has mobilised his army for the strifeE
-
Oh the King of Death has mobilised his menA
See the hearses huge and blackF
How they rumble down the trackF
With their coffins filled with deadG
Filled with men who fought and bledG
Now from fields of glory comingB
To the sound of muffled drummingB
They are lying still and whiteD
But the Kings have had their fightD
Death has mobilised his army for the graveH
