Memories Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEEBFB GHIIJJHKH ABJJLLBKB JMLLNNMGM

I am thinking of the SpringtimeA
On the farm out in the WestB
When my world held nothing for me that I wantedC
Save a courage all undauntedD
And my foolish little rhymesE
Were but heart beats rung in chimesE
That I sounded just to ease my life's unrestB
Yes I sang them and I rang themF
Just to ease my youth's unrestB
-
When I heard the name of LondonG
In that early day afarH
In that Springtime of my Country over yonderI
Then I used to sit and wonderI
If the day would come to meJ
When my ship should cross the seaJ
To the land that seemed as distant as a starH
In my dreaming ever gleamingK
Like a distant unknown starH
-
Now in London in the SpringtimeA
I am sitting here your guestB
Nay I think it is a vision or a fancyJ
Part of dreamland NecromancyJ
And I question is it trueL
That the great warm hearts of youL
Heard the winging of that singing in the WestB
Heard the chiming of my rhymingK
From the farmhouse in the WestB
-
Let me linger in the fancyJ
For the soul of me is stirredM
As I dream that I am sitting here among youL
And the songs that I have sung youL
Shall grow stronger through the artN
Of heart speaking unto heartN
Through the gladness of the singer who is heardM
Lo my songs have crossed the oceanG
But the voice of my emotion finds no wordM
