Rhyme Scheme: ABABCD EFEFGH

The longer I live and the more I seeA
Of the struggle of souls towards the heights aboveB
The stronger this truth comes home to meA
That the Universe rests on the shoulders of loveB
A love so limitless deep and broadC
That men have re named it and called it GodD
-
And nothing that was ever born or evolvedE
Nothing created by light or forceF
But deep in its system there lies dissolvedE
A shining drop from the great Love sourceF
A shining drop that shall live for ayeG
Though kingdoms may perish and stars decayH
