Love Much Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABB CACAA DEDEE DADAA FGFGG

Love much Earth has enough of bitter in itA
Cast sweets into its cup whene er you canB
No heart so hard but love at last may win itA
Love is the great prim val cause of manB
All hate is foreign to the first great planB
-
Love much Your heart will be led out to slaughterC
On altars built of envy and decietA
Love on love on tis bread upon the waterC
It shall be cast in loaves yet at your feetA
Unleavened manna most divinely sweetA
-
Love much Your faith will be dethroned and shakenD
Your trust betrayed by many a fair false lureE
Remount your faith and let new trusts awakenD
Though clouds obscure them yet the stars are pureE
Love is a vital force and must endureE
-
Love much Men s souls contract with cold suspicionD
Shine on them with warm love and they expandA
Tis love not creeds that from a low conditionD
Leads mankind up to heights supreme and grandA
Oh that the world could see and understandA
-
Love much There is no waste in freely givingF
More blessed is it even than to receiveG
He who loves much alone finds life worth livingF
Love on through doubt and darkness and believeG
There is no thing which Love may not achieveG
