Rhyme Scheme: A BABA CDCD E EDED DFDF G HIJI KLKL E DMDN DDDN

SPRINGA
-
A sudden softness in the windB
A glint of song a wingA
A fragrant sound that trails behindB
And joy in everythingA
-
A sudden flush upon the cheekC
The teardrop quick to startD
A hope too delicate to speakC
And heaven within the heartD
-
SUMMERE
-
A riotous dawn and the sea's great wonderE
The red red heart of a rose uncurledD
And beauty tearing her veil asunderE
In sight of a swooning worldD
-
A call of the soul and the senses blendedD
The Springtime lost in the glow of the sunF
And two lives rushing as God intendedD
To meet and mingle as oneF
-
AUTUMNG
-
The world is out in gala dressH
And yet it is not gayI
Its splendour hides a lonelinessJ
For something gone awayI
-
Laughter and music on the airK
A shower of rice and bloomL
Smiles for the fond departing pairK
And then the empty roomL
-
WINTERE
-
Two trees swayed in the winter wind and dreamedD
The snowflakes falling about them were beesM
Singing among the leaves And they were gladD
Knowing the dream would soon come trueN
-
Beside the hearth an aged couple rockedD
And dozed and dreamed the friends long passed from sightD
Were with them once again They woke and smiledD
Knowing the dream would soon come trueN
