Listen! Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF EGEG HIJI

Whoever you are as you read thisA
Whatever your trouble or griefB
I want you to know and to heed thisA
The day draweth near with reliefB
-
No sorrow no woe is unendingC
Though heaven seems voiceless and dumbD
So sure as your cry is ascendingC
So surely an answer will comeD
-
Whatever temptation is near youE
Whose eyes on this simple verse fallF
Remember good angels will hear youE
And help you to stand if you callF
-
Though stunned with despair I beseech youE
Whatever your losses your needG
Believe when these printed words reach youE
Believe you were born to succeedG
-
You are stronger I tell you this minuteH
Than any unfortunate fateI
And the coveted prize you can win itJ
While life lasts 'tis never too lateI
