Justice Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFG

However inexplicable may seemA
Event and circumstance upon this earthB
Though favours fall on those whom none esteemA
And insult and indifference greet worthB
Though poverty repays the life of toilC
And riches spring where idle feet have trodD
And storms lay waste the patiently tilled soilC
Yet Justice sways the universe of GodD
-
As undisturbed the stately stars remainE
Beyond the glare of day's obscuring lightF
So Justice dwells though mortal eyes in vainE
Seek it persistently by reason's sightF
But when once freed the illumined soul looks outG
Its cry will be 'O God how could I doubt '-
