Impatience Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBC DEDFEC GHGHHC IJIJJC CKLKKC

How can I wait until you come to meA
The once fleet mornings linger by the wayB
Their sunny smiles touched with malicious gleeA
At my unrest they seem to pause and playB
Like truant children while I sigh and sayB
How can I waitC
-
How can I wait Of old the rapid hoursD
Refused to pause or loiter with me longE
But now they idly fill their hands with flowersD
And make no haste but slowly stroll amongF
The summer blooms not heeding my one songE
How can I waitC
-
How can I wait The nights alone are kindG
They reach forth to a future day and bringH
Sweet dreams of you to people all my mindG
And time speeds by on light and airy wingH
I feast upon your face I no more singH
How can I waitC
-
How can I wait The morning breaks the spellI
A pitying night has flung upon my soulJ
You are not near me and I know full wellI
My heart has need of patience and controlJ
Before we meet hours days and weeks must rollJ
How can I waitC
-
How can I wait Oh Love how can I waitC
Until the sunlight f your eyes shall shineK
Upon my world that seems so desolateL
Until your hand clasp warms my blood like wineK
Until you come again oh Love of mineK
How can I waitC
