Rhyme Scheme: ABABCB DBDBDB EBEBEB FBFBFB

Do you remember that glorious JuneA
When we were lovers you and IB
Something there was in the robin's tuneA
Something there was in earth and skyB
That was never before and never since thenC
I wonder whyB
-
Do you remember the bridge we crossedD
And lingered to see the ships go byB
With snowy sails to the free winds tossedD
I never pass that bridge but I sighB
With a sense at my heart as of something lostD
I wonder whyB
-
Do you remember the song we sungE
Under the beautiful starlit skyB
The world was bright and our hearts were youngE
I cannot forget though I try and tryB
How you smiled in my eyes while the echoes rungE
I wonder whyB
-
Do you remember how debonairF
The new moon shone when we said good byeB
How it listened and smiled when we parted thereF
I shall hate the new moon until I dieB
Hate it for ever nor think it fairF
I wonder whyB
