And tender love for all created things | C |

Growing from seed selected and from soil | F |
Love fertilised and pruned by wisdom's hand | G |
Till out of mortal man spring demi gods | C |
Strong primal creatures with awakened souls | C |
And normal passions governed by the will | H |
Leaving a trail of glory where they tread | I |

I look to Science for the growth of faith | J |
That bold denier of accepted creeds | C |
That mighty doubter of accepted truths | C |
Shall yet reveal God's secrets to the world | K |
And prove the facts it seeks to overthrow | L |
And a new name shall Science henceforth bear | M |
