I Dream Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDDCEEA FGGFHIIHJJF KLLKMNNHOOH

Oh I have dreams I sometimes dream of LifeA
In the full meaning of that splendid wordB
Its subtle music which few men have heardB
Though all may hear it sounding through earth's strifeA
Its mountain heights by mystic breezes kissedC
Lifting their lovely peaks above the dustD
Its treasures which no touch of time can rustD
Its emerald seas its dawns of amethystC
Its certain purpose its serene reposeE
Its usefulness that finds no hour for woesE
This is my dream of LifeA
-
Yes I have dreams I ofttimes dream of LoveF
As radiant and brilliant as a starG
As changeless too as that fixed light afarG
Which glorifies vast worlds of space aboveF
Strong as the tempest when it holds its breathH
Before it bursts in fury and as deepI
As the unfathomed seas where lost worlds sleepI
And sad as birth and beautiful as deathH
As fervent as the fondest soul could craveJ
Yet holy as the moonlight on a graveJ
This is my dream of LoveF
-
Yes yes I dream One oft recurring dreamK
Is beautiful and comforting and blestL
Complete with certain promises of restL
Divine content and ecstasy supremeK
When that strange essence author of all faithM
That subtle something which cries for the lightN
Like a lost child who wanders in the nightN
Shall solve the mighty mystery of DeathH
Shall find eternal progress or sublimeO
And satisfying slumber for all timeO
This is my dream of DeathH
