'He that hath an ear let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches 'A
-
-
St John the DivineB
-
-
The Spirit says unto the churchesC
'Ere ever the churches beganD
I lived in the centre of BeingE
The life of the Purpose and PlanD
I flowed from the mind of the MakerF
Through nature to manD
-
-
'I sleep in the glow of the jewelG
I wake in the sap of the treeH
I stir in the beast of the forestI
I reason in man and am freeH
To turn on the path of AscensionJ
To the god yet to beH
-
-
'I was and I am and I will beH
I live in each church and each faithK
But yield to no bond and no fetterF
I animate all with my breathL
I speak through the voice of the livingE
And I speak after death '-
-
-
The Spirit says unto the churchesC
'The dead are not gone they are nearM
And my voice when I will it speaks through themN
Speaks through them in messages clearM
And he that hath ears in the silenceO
May listen and hear '-
-
-
The Spirit says unto the churchesC
'So many the feet that have trodP
The road leading up into knowledgeQ
The steep narrow path has grown broadR
And the curtain held down by old dogmasC
Is lifted by God '-
