Half Fledged Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDDEEFF GGHHIIBBJJ

I feel the stirrings in me of great thingsA
New half fledged thoughts rise up and beat their wingsA
And tremble on the margin of their nestB
Then flutter back and hide within my breastB
-
Beholding space they doubt their untried strengthC
Beholding men they fear them But at lengthC
Grown all too great and active for the heartD
That broods them with such tender mother artD
Forgetting fear and men and all that hourE
Save the impelling consciousness of powerE
That stirs within them they shall soar awayF
Up to the very portals of the DayF
-
Oh what exultant rapture thrills me throughG
When I contemplate all those thoughts may doG
Like snow white eagles penetrating spaceH
They may explore full many an unknown placeH
And build their nests on mountain heights unseenI
Whereon doth lie that dreamed of rest sereneI
Stay thou a little longer in my breastB
Till my fond heart shall push thee from the nestB
Anxious to see thee soar to heights divineJ
Oh beautiful but half fledged thoughts of mineJ
