Faith Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHIHJKLK MNONPQRQ

Let a valiant Faith cross swords with DeathA
And Death is certain to fallB
For the dead arise with joy in their eyesC
They were not dead at allB
If this were only a world of chanceD
Then faith with its strong white sparkE
Could burn through the sod and fashion a GodF
And set Him to shine in the darkE
-
So in troublesome days and in shadowy waysG
In the dire and difficult timeH
We must cling we must cling to our Faith and bringI
Our courage to heights sublimeH
It is not a matter of hugging a creedJ
That will lift us up to the lightK
But in keeping our trust that Love is justL
And that whatever is is rightK
-
When the hopes of this world into chaos are hurledM
And the devil seems running the earthN
When the bad folks stay and the good pass awayO
And greed fares better than worthN
Oh that is the hour to trust in the PowerP
That will straighten the tangle outQ
For death and sorrow are little thingsR
But a terrible thing is doubtQ
