Dream Town Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDED FGFHAIJI KLKLJBMB NONOCBCB

Now who is ready to go with meA
Off and away to dream townB
Oh such a journey as that will beA
All dressed in a snow white gownB
No shoe or stocking they think it shockingC
To wear such things in dream town streetD
For it's paved with posies and leaves of rosesE
So nothing can hurt your feetD
-
-
We leave our baggage and clothes behindF
When we set out on this jauntG
The folks who live there are very kindF
They give us whatever we wantH
Sometimes a dolly we take if she's jollyA
And good all the day beforeI
But they've dolls without number in that land of slumberJ
And of toys there's a wonderful storeI
-
-
We shut up our eyes when we set outK
Though why I never have guessedL
There's some good reason I haven't a doubtK
Since every one says it is bestL
I think we go faster and keep off disasterJ
By folding our eyelids downB
By dropping that curtain I'm almost certainM
The sooner we get to dream townB
-
-
Just inside of the city gateN
Smiling and rosy and brightO
The boys and the girls of dream town waitN
To play with us all the nightO
So rocking and rocking without shoe or stockingC
All dressed in a little white gownB
Singing and humming we're coming we're comingC
Into the gates of dream townB
