Don't Tease The Lion Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDDED FGHGIJKL AMDMANAN HOHODNFN

If you saw a lionA
Not within a cageB
Would you tease and fret himC
Till he roared in rageB
Would you tempt his angerD
And his savage powerD
Knowing he could crush youE
Kill you and devourD
-
-
Yet I know some peopleF
Who morn and noon and nightG
Tease and fret with bittersH
The lion appetiteG
It matters not what ails themI
For each disease and allJ
They seem to think there's healingK
In demon alcoholL
-
-
So they fret the lionA
And anger him untilM
In his awful powerD
He springs up to killM
Let me warn you childrenA
From this foolish wayN
Do not tease the lionA
Nor tempt him any dayN
-
-
Don't believe the doctorsH
If they say you needO
Any wines or cidersH
For there are indeedO
Better cures and saferD
Than these drinks that slayN
More than a hundred peopleF
Without fail each dayN
