Discredited Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAAB CDCCD EFGGF HIJJI KBKKB LMLLM

Three million women without matesA
In lonely homes on earthB
And Cupid sighs at heaven's gatesA
Where many a spirit ego waitsA
Its call again to birthB
-
-
Three million women meant to beC
The mothers of the raceD
But when war reaps on land and seaC
Its harvests for EternityC
Poor Hymen hides his faceD
-
-
I think Earth has discreditedE
Itself in God's good sightF
He does not care to have souls bredG
Where peace and love and joy are fledG
Until we set things rightF
-
-
He meant earth for a Garden SpotH
Where spirits could returnI
And build new heavens as they oughtJ
And now behold what men have wroughtJ
By deeds that blight and burnI
-
-
So vain the waiting egos questK
For pathways back to birthB
And vain the longing and unrestK
In many a cheated mother breastK
God does not like the earthB
-
-
It must be cleansed and purifiedL
Of selfishness and strifeM
Of grasping greed and lust and prideL
Before He lets His Angels guideL
The egos back to lifeM
