And I wept 'Oh wind blow into my mind | C |
Blow into my soul and heart | D |
And scatter the clouds that hang lile shrouds | E |
And make the shadows depart ' | F |

And beat on the earth's cold bosom | H |
It said to the sleeping grass 'Arise ' | - |
And the young buds sprang in blossom | H |
And I wept in pain 'Oh blessed rain | I |
Beat into my heart to day | A |
Thaw out the snows that are chilling it so | J |
Till it blossoms in hope I pray ' | - |

The sunshine fell on the bare armed trees | K |
In a wonderful sheen of glory | L |
And the young leaves rustled and sang to the breeze | K |
And whispered a love fraught story | L |
And 'Sun oh shine on this heart of mine | M |
And woo it to life ' I cried | N |
But the wind and sun and rain each one | O |
The coveted boon denied | N |
