Denied Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDEF GH HIAJ KLKLMNON

The winds came out of the west one dayA
And hurried the clouds before themB
And drove the shadows and mists awayA
And over the mountains bore themB
And I wept 'Oh wind blow into my mindC
Blow into my soul and heartD
And scatter the clouds that hang lile shroudsE
And make the shadows depart 'F
-
The rain came out of th eleaden skiesG
And beat on the earth's cold bosomH
It said to the sleeping grass 'Arise '-
And the young buds sprang in blossomH
And I wept in pain 'Oh blessed rainI
Beat into my heart to dayA
Thaw out the snows that are chilling it soJ
Till it blossoms in hope I pray '-
-
The sunshine fell on the bare armed treesK
In a wonderful sheen of gloryL
And the young leaves rustled and sang to the breezeK
And whispered a love fraught storyL
And 'Sun oh shine on this heart of mineM
And woo it to life ' I criedN
But the wind and sun and rain each oneO
The coveted boon deniedN
