After Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCBB CCBB

Over the din of battleA
Over the cannons' rattleA
Over the strident voices of men and their dying groansB
I hear the falling of thronesB
-
Out of the wild disorderC
That spreads from border to borderC
I see a new world rising from ashes of ancient townsB
And the Rulers wear no crownsB
-
Over the blood charged waterC
Over the fields of slaughterC
Down to the hidden vaults of Time where lie the worn out thingsB
I see the passing of KingsB
