Action Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCCDAAAD EFGFAAAHIIIH

For ever stars are wingingA
Their swift and endless raceB
For ever suns are swingingA
Their mighty globes through spaceB
Since by his law requiredC
To join God's spheres inspiredC
The earth has never tiredC
But whirled and whirled and whirledD
For ever streams are flowingA
For ever seeds are growingA
Alway is Nature showingA
That Action rules the worldD
-
And since by God requestedE
To BE the glorious lightF
Has never paused or restedG
But travelled day and nightF
Yet pigmy man unseeingA
The purpose of his beingA
Demands escape and freeingA
From universal forceH
But law is law for everI
And like a mighty leverI
It thrusts him tow'rd endeavourI
And speeds him on his courseH
