A Man's Good-bye Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD EEFF GGAA AAHH DDII JJGG

Do you think dear as you sayA
Such a light good bye to dayA
That this parting time may beB
Mayhaps less to you than meB
-
What a wonder of surpriseC
Looks out from your sunny eyesC
'Just a nice acquaintance ' SoD
We have called it dear I knowD
-
Now you end it with a wordE
While my inmost soul is stirredE
No you cannot understandF
But dear as I touch your handF
-
Listening to your light good byeG
All a man's roused passions cryG
Like a tiger stirred at bayA
Oh you draw your hand awayA
-
'I've no right to speak so ' PrayA
Was it your right day by dayA
By your sweet coquettish artsH
To invade my heart of heartsH
-
It is death to let you goD
You will hate me dear I knowD
But I swear ere you go henceI
I will have some recompenseI
-
For those fires you lit in vainJ
Cheeks and lips shall bear the stainJ
Of my kisses till you dieG
Go now this is my good byeG
