Hidden oh hiddenA
in the high fogB
the house we live inC
beneath the magnetic rockD
rain rainbow riddenA
where blood blackE
bromelias lichensF
owls and the lintG
of the waterfalls clingH
familiar unbiddenA
-
In a dim ageI
of waterJ
the brook sings loudK
from a rib cageI
of giant fern vaporJ
climbs up the thick growthL
effortlessly turns backE
holding them bothL
house and rockD
in a private cloudK
-
At night on the roofM
blind drops crawlN
and the ordinary brownA
owl gives us proofM
he can countO
five times always fiveP
he stamps and takes offQ
after the fat frogs thatR
shrilling for loveS
clamber and mountO
-
House open houseT
to the white dewU
and the milk white sunriseV
kind to the eyesV
to membershipW
of silver fish mouseT
bookwormsT
big moths with a wallN
for the mildew'sT
ignorant mapX
-
darkened and tarnishedY
by the warm touchZ
of the warm breathA2
maculate cherishedY
rejoice For a laterJ
era will differJ
O difference that killsT
or intimidates muchZ
of all our small shadowyB2
life Without waterJ
-
the great rock will stareC2
unmagnetized bareC2
no longer wearingH
rainbows or rainA
the forgiving airC2
and the high fog goneA
the owls will move onA
and the severalD2
waterfalls shrivelD2
in the steady sunA
