Peace Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH JKHK

Suddenly bells and flagsA
Suddenly door to doorB
Tidings Can we believeC
We who were used to warB
-
Yet we have dreamed her faceD
Knowing her light must beE
Knowing that she must comeF
Look she comes it is sheE
-
Tattered her raiment floatsG
Blood is upon her wingsH
Ah but her eyes are clearI
Ah but her voice outringsH
-
Soon where the shrapnel fellJ
Petals shall wake and stirK
Look she is here she livesH
Beauty has died for herK
