Convention Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE

The snow is lying very deepA
My house is sheltered from the blastB
I hear each muffled step outsideC
I hear each voice go pastB
-
But I'll not venture in the driftD
Out of this bright securityE
Till enough footsteps come and goF
To make a path for meE
