Sonnets On Separation V Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGG

Through the closed curtains comes the early sunA
First a pale finger preluding the handB
Outside more certainly the day's begunA
Where bright and brighter still the chestnuts standB
Broad candles lighting up at the first fireC
I stir and turn in my uneasy sleepD
But in my sorrow sleep's my whole desireC
About the still room small lights move and creepD
Silently stealthily on wall and chairE
Till to strong rays and shining lights they growF
Which with their magic change the waiting airE
And all its sleeping motes to gold and throwF
A golden radiance on your empty bedG
Which wakes me with vain likeness to your headG
