Sonnets On Separation I Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEDEFGFGHH

The time shall be old Wisdom says when youA
Shall grow awrinkled and I indifferentB
Shall no more follow the light steps I knewA
Or trace you finding out the way you wentC
By swinging branches and the displaced flowersD
Among the thickets I no more shall standE
With careful pencil through the adoring hoursD
Scratching your grace on paper My still handE
No more shall tremble at the touch of yoursF
And I'll write no more songs and you'll not singG
But this is all a lie for love enduresF
And we shall closer kiss rememberingG
How budding trees turned barren in the sunH
Through this long week whereof one day's now doneH
