A noise of light stepping shadows follows nowC
From the dark green mist in which we wadedD

They say Peeng and then after a long time PeengE
Swimming out softly to the moonF

Three of the balancing dancing geese are dim and blackE
And three are white and clear because of the moonF
In what explanatory dawn will our soulsG
Be seen to be the sameH
