The Bamboo Garden Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGDF HIJK H

Old bamboos are about my houseA
And the floor of my house is untidy with old booksB
It is sweet to rest in the shade of itC
And read the poems of the mastersD
-
But I remember a delightful fishermanE
Who played on the five stringed dan in the eveningF
In the day he allowed his reed canoe to floatG
Over the lakes and riversD
Watching his nets and singingF
-
A sweet boy promised to marry meH
But he went away and leftI
Like a reed canoe that rolls adriftJ
In the middle of a riverK
-
Song of AnnamH
