Nocturne Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCCDCCC AEFABGCHICJA K

It is late at nightA
And the North Star is shiningB
The mist covers the rice fieldsC
And the bamboosC
Are whispering full of cricketsC
The watch beats on the iron wood gongD
And priests are ringing the pagoda bellsC
We hear the far away games of peasantsC
And distant singing in the cottagesC
-
It is late at nightA
As we talk gentlyE
Sitting by one anotherF
Life is as beautiful as nightA
The red moon is risingB
On the mountain sideG
Like a fire started among the treesC
There is the North StarH
Shining like a paper lanternI
The light air brings dew to our facesC
And the sound of tamtams beaten far awayJ
Let us sit like this all nightA
