A Poet Looks At The Moon Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AB BAC DE FGED BHD I

I hear a woman singing in my gardenA
But I look at the moon in spite of herB
-
I have no thought of trying to find the singerB
Singing in my gardenA
I am looking at the moonC
-
And I think the moon is honouring meD
With a long silver lookE
-
I blinkF
As bats fly black across the rayG
But when I raise my head the silver lookE
Is still upon meD
-
The moon delights to make eyes of poets her mirrorB
And poets are many as dragon scalesH
On the moonlit seaD
-
