Poor Bob would sit her grave beside | D |
On Sunday afternoons and shed | E |
His briny tribute to the dead | E |
And dimpled Mrs brown and he | F |
Had quite a bond of sympathy | F |

But presently I understand | B |
'Twas Bob who held the widow's hand | B |
She decker herself in orange spray | C |
And all her weeds she cast away | C |
Now where the sorrel sheds its seeds | G |
Brown's grave is thick with widow's weeds | G |
