Visit Of The Dead Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDEFEGGHHHHIIBBBB JJGGHHCC

Thy soul shall find itself aloneA
Alone of all on earth unknownA
The cause but none are near to pryB
Into thine hour of secrecyC
Be silent in that solitudeD
Which is not loneliness for thenE
The spirits of the dead who stoodF
In life before thee are againE
In death around thee and their willG
Shall then o'ershadow thee be stillG
For the night tho' clear shall frownH
And the stars shall look not downH
From their thrones in the dark heav'nH
With light like Hope to mortals giv'nH
But their red orbs without beamI
To thy withering heart shall seemI
As a burning and a ferverB
Which would cling to thee foreverB
But 'twill leave thee as each starB
In the morning light afarB
Will fly thee and vanishJ
But its thought thou can'st not banishJ
The breath of God will be stillG
And the wish upon the hillG
By that summer breeze unbrok'nH
Shall charm thee as a tokenH
And a symbol which shall beC
Secrecy in theeC
