In meeting club or lodge | F |
Some cheerful soul must do the work | G |
That all the others dodge | F |
Some one for all must toil and plan | H |
Some one the money banks | E |
For which the shirkers to a man | H |
Will move a vote of thanks | E |

The many spend their hours in ease | I |
While busy are the few | J |
The glory of the game they want | K |
But not its work to do | J |
Untroubled here on earth they live | L |
The strength that's in their shanks | E |
They save to those who toil to give | M |
A rising vote of thanks | E |

Some day when all the work is done | D |
And rest has settled down | N |
Perhaps the weary toiler then | O |
Will wear a golden crown | N |
Upon his breast may medals flash | P |
