I'm boasting of the others | A |
Just which is which no man can say | A |
One star for every state | C |
Gleams brightly on our flag to day | A |
And every one is great | C |

The stars that gem the skies at night | D |
May differ in degree | E |
And some are pale and some are bright | D |
But in our flag we see | E |
A sky of blue wherein the stars | A |
Are equal in design | F |
Each has the radiance of Mars | A |
And all are yours and mine | F |

The glory that is Michigan's | A |
Is Colorado's too | G |
The same sky Minnesota spans | A |
The same sun warms it through | G |
And all are one beneath the flag | B |
A common hope is ours | A |
Our country is the mountain crag | B |
The valley and its flowers | A |

The land we love lies far away | A |
As well as close at hand | H |
He has no vision who would say | A |
This state's my native land | H |
Though sweet the charms he knows the best | I |
Deep down within his heart | J |
The farthest east the farthest west | I |
Of him must be a part | J |

That's brighter than its brothers | A |
So when of Michigan I brag | B |

We share alike one purpose true | G |
One common end awaits | A |
We must in all we dream or do | G |
