Roses And Sunshine Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACCDEEF GHIHJJDEED

burden I'm bearing to dayA
But I'm humming a song as I wander alongB
And I smile at the roses that nod by the wayA
Red roses sweetC
Blooming there at my feetC
Just dripping with honey and perfume and cheerD
What a weakling I'd beE
If I tried not to seeE
The joy and the comfort you bring to us hereF
-
Just tramping along o'er the highway of lifeG
Knowing not what's ahead but still doing my bestH
And I sing as I go for my soul seems to knowI
In the end I shall come to the valley of restH
With the sun in my faceJ
And the roses to graceJ
The roads that I travel what have I to fearD
What a coward I'd beE
If I tried not to seeE
The roses of hope and the sunshine of cheerD
