Nothing To Laugh At Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCCDDEE FFGGHIJJAA KKLLAAKKAA MMLLAAGGAA

by a bumble beeA
An' your nose wuz swelled an' it smarted tooB
You wouldn't want people to laugh at youB
If you had a lump that wuz full of fireC
Like you'd been touched by a red hot wireC
An' your nose spread out like a load of hayD
You wouldn't want strangers who come your wayD
To ask you to let 'em see the placeE
An' laugh at you right before your faceE
-
What's funny about it I'd like to knowF
It isn't a joke to be hurted soF
An' how wuz I ever on earth to tellG
'At the pretty flower which I stooped to smellG
In our backyard wuz the very oneH
Which a bee wuz busily working onI
An' jus' as I got my nose down thereJ
He lifted his foot an' kicked for fairJ
An' he planted his stinger right into meA
But it's nothin' to laugh at as I can seeA
-
I let out a yell an' my Maw came outK
To see what the trouble wuz all aboutK
She says from my shriek she wuz sure 'at IL
Had been struck by a motor car passin' byL
But when she found what the matter wuzA
She laughed just like ever'body doesA
An' she made me stand while she poked aboutK
To pull his turrible stinger outK
An' my Pa laughed too when he looked at meA
But it's nothin' to laugh at as I can seeA
-
My Maw put witch hazel on the spotM
To take down the swellin' but it has notM
It seems to git bigger as time goes byL
An' I can't see good out o' this one eyeL
An' it hurts clean down to my very toesA
Whenever I've got to blow my noseA
An' all I can say is when this gits wellG
There ain't any flowers I'll stoop to smellG
I'm through disturbin' a bumble beeA
But it's nothin' to laugh at as I can seeA
