Little Master Mischievous Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCC DDEEFF GGHHII AAJJII

Little Master Mischievous that's the name for youA
There's no better title that describes the things you doA
Into something all the while where you shouldn't beB
Prying into matters that are not for you to seeB
Little Master Mischievous order's overthrownC
If your mother leaves you for a minute all aloneC
-
Little Master Mischievous opening every doorD
Spilling books and papers round about the parlor floorD
Scratching all the tables and marring all the chairsE
Climbing where you shouldn't climb and tumbling down the stairsE
How'd you get the ink well We can never guessF
Now the rug is ruined so's your little dressF
-
Little Master Mischievous in the cookie jarG
Who has ever told you where the cookies areG
Now your sticky fingers smear the curtains whiteH
You have finger printed everything in sightH
There's no use in scolding when you smile that wayI
You can rob of terror every word we sayI
-
Little Master Mischievous that's the name for youA
There's no better title that describes the things you doA
Prying into corners peering into nooksJ
Tugging table covers tearing costly booksJ
Little Master Mischievous have your roguish wayI
Time I know will stop you soon enough some dayI
