Life's Tests Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEAEFBDB

If never a sorrow came to usA
and never a care we knewB
If every hope were realizedC
and every dream came trueB
If only joy were found on earthD
and no one ever sighedE
And never a friend proved false to usA
and never a loved one diedE
And never a burden bore us downF
soul sick and weary tooB
We'd yearn for tests to prove our worthD
and tasks for us to doB
