I Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCDD ACACEFGG CHCHIICC JKJKLLCC MNMNAACC

Nobody hates me more than IA
No enemy have I to dayB
That I so bravely must defyA
There are no foes along my wayB
However bitter they may beC
So powerful to injure meC
As I am nor so quick to spoilD
The beauty of my bit of toilD
-
Nobody harms me more than IA
No one is meaner unto meC
Of all the foes that pass me byA
I am the worst one that I seeC
I am the dangerous man to fearE
I am the cause of sorrow hereF
Of all men 'gainst my hopes inclinedG
I am myself the most unkindG
-
I do more harmful things to meC
Than all the men who seem to hateH
I am the fellow that should beC
More dreaded than the works of fateH
I am the one that I must fightI
With all my will and all my mightI
My foes are better friends to meC
Than I have ever proved to beC
-
I am the careless foe and meanJ
I am the selfish rival tooK
My enmity to me is seenJ
In almost everything I doK
More courage it requires to beatL
Myself than all the foes I meetL
I am more traitorous to meC
Than other men could ever beC
-
In every struggle I have lostM
I am the one that was to blameN
My weaknesses cannot be glossedM
By glib excuses I was lameN
I that would dare for fame or pelfA
Am far less daring with myselfA
I care not who my foes may beC
I am my own worst enemyC
