Equipment Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCD EEFGHH IIGFJJ KKLLMM NNAAC

Figure it out for yourself my ladA
You've all that the greatest of men have hadA
Two arms two hands two legs two eyesB
And a brain to use if you would be wiseB
With this equipment they all beganC
So start for the top and say 'I can 'D
-
Look them over the wise and greatE
They take their food from a common plateE
And similar knives and forks they useF
With similar laces they tie their shoesG
The world considers them brave and smartH
But you've all they had when they made their startH
-
You can triumph and come to skillI
You can be great if only you willI
You're well equipped for what fight you chooseG
You have legs and arms and a brain to useF
And the man who has risen great deeds to doJ
Began his life with no more than youJ
-
You are the handicap you must faceK
You are the one who must choose your placeK
You must say where you want to goL
How much you will study the truth to knowL
God has equipped you for life But HeM
Lets you decide what you want to beM
-
Courage must come from the soul withinN
The man must furnish the will to winN
So figure it out for yourself my ladA
You were born with all that the great have hadA
With your equipment they all beganC
Get hold of yourself and say 'I can '-
