| Its deserts and hills men have builded upon | G |
| Great structures of stone and of steel | F |
| It is proud of its colleges splendid and true | H |
| Where its youth obtain learning and skill | I |
| It has turned from the old to the glorious new | H |
| But the death house is part of it still | I |

| Of its churches with steeples and domes | K |
| And proudly it tells of its numberless laws | L |
| That safeguard its millions of homes | K |
| It has stretched out its hand to the child of the mill | I |

| Yet the chamber of death is a part of it still | I |
| And some one must murder for pay | D |

| As the ominous footfalls are heard on the stairs | M |
| And ask Him for mercy and love | N |
| Oh mockery Asking the Master to show | O |

| Stand up and insist on a blow for a blow | O |
| And murder in legalized hate | P |
