Can't Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFAGAG CHCHEIEI AJAJCGC

Can't is the worst word that's written or spokenA
Doing more harm here than slander and liesB
On it is many a strong spirit brokenA
And with it many a good purpose diesB
It springs from the lips of the thoughtless each morningC
And robs us of courage we need through the dayD
It rings in our ears like a timely sent warningC
And laughs when we falter and fall by the wayD
-
Can't is the father of feeble endeavorE
The parent of terror and half hearted workF
It weakens the efforts of artisans cleverE
And makes of the toiler an indolent shirkF
It poisons the soul of the man with a visionA
It stifles in infancy many a planG
It greets honest toiling with open derisionA
And mocks at the hopes and the dreams of a manG
-
Can't is a word none should speak without blushingC
To utter it should be a symbol of shameH
Ambition and courage it daily is crushingC
It blights a man's purpose and shortens his aimH
Despise it with all of your hatred of errorE
Refuse it the lodgment it seeks in your brainI
Arm against it as a creature of terrorE
And all that you dream of you some day shall gainI
-
-
Can't is the word that is foe to ambitionA
An enemy ambushed to shatter your willJ
Its prey is forever the man with a missionA
And bows but to courage and patience and skillJ
Hate it with hatred that's deep and undyingC
For once it is welcomed 'twill break any manG
Whatever the goal you are seeking keep tryingC
And answer this demon by saying 'I can '-
