Brothers All Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDDEEFFGGBB CCHHIIJJKKLL KKKMMNNOOBB AABB

Under the toiler's grimy shirtA
Under the sweat and the grease and dirtA
Under the rough outside you viewB
Is a man who thinks and feels as youB
-
Go talk with himC
Go walk with himC
Sit down with him by a running streamD
Away from the things that are hissing steamD
Away from his benchE
His hammer and wrenchE
And the grind of needF
And the sordid deedF
And this you'll findG
As he bares his mindG
In the things which count when this life is throughB
He's as tender and big and as good as youB
-
Be fair with himC
And share with himC
An hour of time in a restful placeH
Brother to brother and face to faceH
And he'll whisper lowI
Of the long agoI
Of a loved one deadJ
And the tears he shedJ
And you'll come to seeK
That in suffering heK
With you is hurt by the self same rodL
And turns for help to the self same GodL
-
You hope as heK
You dream of splendors and so does heK
His children must be as you'd have yours beK
He shares your loveM
For the Flag aboveM
He laughs and singsN
For the self same thingsN
When he's understoodO
He is mostly goodO
Thoughtful of others and kind and trueB
Brave devoted and much like youB
-
Under the toiler's grimy shirtA
Under the sweat and the grease and dirtA
Under the rough outside you viewB
Is a man who thinks and feels as youB
